Can You Really Get a Remote Salesforce Job?
You have a dream of working from home: you picture yourself in your sweats working from your kitchen table, picking up the kids from school, skipping the commute entirely, or maybe answering emails poolside. But there’s a nagging little voice asking, “Are remote Salesforce jobs actually real, or is that just marketing?”
Good question. In this post we tackle whether remote Salesforce jobs are real, can beginners land them, how to find them, and how to verify all of it yourself in about five minutes. You don’t have to take our word for it.
By the end, you’ll know exactly how realistic working from home (or anywhere!) in a remote Salesforce job really is.
Can you really get a remote Salesforce job?
Yes. Remote Salesforce jobs are very real and very common. The majority of Salesforce admin roles are remote or hybrid. It’s genuinely rare to find one that requires being in an office five days a week.
This isn’t a “someday, if you’re lucky” perk. Remote and hybrid work is the norm in the Salesforce world, not the exception. Because the job is done almost entirely on your work computer, companies have little reason to chain you to a desk in their building.
So, the dream you’ve been picturing? It’s not a fantasy. It’s just Tuesday for most working admins.
Are most Salesforce jobs remote?
Most Salesforce admin jobs are remote or hybrid. Fully in-office Salesforce roles exist but are fairly rare nowadays, which means you have real flexibility in how and where you work. When you apply for jobs, you can ask what the work situation entails: fully in-office, remote, or hybrid (being in-office a few days a week).
You’ll generally run into three setups. Some admins work remotely for a single company as a full-time employee with benefits. Others work for a Salesforce consulting firm, supporting many different clients. And some take contract roles, which offer the most freedom but usually no benefits. Most of these can be done from home.
The point is, you get to choose the arrangement that works best for you.
Can beginners get remote Salesforce jobs?
Yes. Entry-level and beginner admins can absolutely land remote and hybrid roles. It’s not a scenario of having to “pay your dues” in order to move up to a hybrid or remote job. Most job listings on Linkedin will tell you in the job description if the position is remote, hybrid, or in-office so you’ll know up-front before you apply.

How do you find remote Salesforce jobs?
To find remote Salesforce jobs, search LinkedIn and job boards for “Junior Salesforce Administrator” and “Salesforce Administrator,” filter by remote, and also look at data-entry roles that list Salesforce as a skill.
If you want to see for yourself, go to LinkedIn right now, open the jobs section, and search “Junior Salesforce Administrator” and “Salesforce Administrator.” Filter for remote and hybrid. Take a look at how many come up. And while you’re there, peek at those salaries too 😍.
That five-minute exercise will do more for your motivation than any blog post can. You’ll see that the jobs are real, they’re remote or hybrid, and they pay well.
Don’t overlook roles like “Data Entry + Salesforce” either. They’re a fantastic way to get your foot in the door, get hired, and then get hands-on experience in a Salesforce org.
Do remote Salesforce jobs pay well?
Yes. Remote Salesforce jobs pay well. Entry-level admins earn $50,000–$70,000, and experienced admins often make over $100,000 per LinkedIn. Some fully remote roles pay a little less than in-office ones, but for many people the benefits of having that kind of work freedom far outweigh the difference in paycheck.
Recent 2026 data suggests fully remote admins sometimes see slightly lower pay or slower raises than their in-office counterparts. But that doesn’t scare off most women. They are willing to accept a slightly lower paycheck in exchange for skipping the commute, working from home, and getting hours of their lives back every week. Some women (especially moms!) value that freedom far more than the lost wages.
And to be clear, “pays a little less” doesn’t mean “pays badly.” Remote Salesforce jobs still come with solid salaries, benefits like health insurance and a 401(k), and the kind of flexibility an in-office job simply can’t offer.

Can you work from anywhere as a Salesforce admin?
Largely, yes. With a remote Salesforce job, you can work from almost anywhere with a reliable internet connection. Though most jobs still expect you to be online during your company’s business hours and time zone.
Want to work from a different city, travel in an RV, or live the digital-nomad life? Remote work admins can do that. One caveat: “remote” still means “available during work hours,” so you’re location-free, not schedule-free. You’ll just be handling requests from a prettier view possibly.
